Okult Studio

The Okult Studio story begins in 2020 after a 6 months Unity C# Developer Training at « Technocite Mons » in Belgium. That’s when I met the 2 people with whom I was going to embark on the adventure of entrepreneurship. Indeed, after the small success of our video game prototype « Expedition », we decided together to launch our own development studio. The team was composed of Thomas Wostyn as a Game Designer, Samuel Props as the 3D Artist and myself as the Game Developer.

So it was as a Okult that we were accepted by « Avomarc », a support structure for self entrepreneurship in Belgium. During 2 years, we planned to release a complete version of our game Expedition and we also explored the B2B side to collect funds (Serious Gaming, Unity Trainer … ). As you can see in the portfolio section, we worked on multiple projects planned on different support ( PC, Android, VR ) that have been interesting both in terms of development and teamwork. It was also a great opportunity to meet people from the video game industry in Belgium and participate with them in various showcase events. At the end of Avomarc’s support, we decided to pause Okult Studio to explore new horizons.

As Okult Studio Founder my main tasks were :

  • Creation, implementation and C# development of video games projects
  • Community Manager
  • Provide introductory training at Unity
  • Seeking Funds for B2C project
  • Market Research & Customer prospecting for B2B project
  • Email management
  • Stay informed about the video game industry in Belgium (and more)
